Organisation

Organisation of the Humanistic Federation of Chivalry The members of the Humanistic Federation of Chivalry meet at eye level. Therefore, the statutory organs are not simular to orders of chivalry which are structured in a military way. The HFOC organs are for administrative purposes only and take care of the communication between institutional and individual members.

Organs of the Humanistic Federation of Chivalry:

• Chairman and Board of Directors
• Senat
• Accreditation Commission
• Arbitration Court

Board of Directors

The board of directors including the Chairman are elected for a period of two years.

Senat

The Senat decides on the rules for self regulation of the HFOC and is involved in the decission process of the federation. The members should represent all groups of interest in the HFOC.

Accreditation Commission

The Accreditation Commission is the body who accepts new members of orders of chivalry. The Accreditation Commission is composed of the chairman, board directors and senators on a case by case basis.

Arbitration Court

The Arbitration Court reconciles conflicts between HFOC members.

News

Although knights in heavy armors and feudal systems have passed away long time ago, the knightly ideal is still alive. Both old and modern orders of chivalry keep alive the old knightly traditions and the knighthood virtues.

Membership

Orders of Chivalry who wish to become a member organisation are requested to send a profile of the order, the rules, the constitution and the acceptance of the rules of self regulation to the Humanistic Federation of Chivalry.
